Appointed internal PM / Champion for the “fit out” of new 300,000 square foot HQ near St Pauls for Schroders.
Following completion of an initial gateway project audit to determine the “readiness” of the end-user client organisation to engage in the project, Martin Stevens was appointed the project co-ordinator/internal champion, for the fit-out of a new build 300,000 square foot headquarters building adjoining Paternoster Square, St. Paul’s, London.
In addition to establishing internal procedures to enable the client’s management to influence the scheme and tailor it to their business needs; the service provided involved monitoring the scheme developer, determining the base building specification from which enhancements and fit-out works would be designed and implemented and appointing and managing Schroders’ consultant team.
Additionally topic related “design development workshops” were configured and managed to enable all staff to contribute to design decision making to ensure that the operational needs of each department were met and that those staff could take “ownership” of the implemented strategies and solutions.
Note: This assignment was undertaken by BBP Property Consultants. Martin Stevens was an Associate Director of the Company and, as the Schroders’ Account Manager, was responsible for this assignment
