Martin trained as an architect and has a masters degree in property development and project management. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce and a Member of the Association for Project Management
Martin works closely with clients, supporting them either in a consultancy or interim management role, to deliver their projects. Additionally, he provides staff coaching, training and mentoring
He was commissioned by the Association for Project Management as managing editor and co-author of their good practice handbook “Project Management Pathways” which received world-wide distribution
He was Associate Project Director for Europe’s largest maritime regeneration project (Chatham Maritime), Project Director for Birmingham City University’s City Centre Campus and Project Manager for a sector first “real-time” timetabling and room booking system delivered to users ‘device of choice’ for The University of Westminster
Martin writes regularly on general management and project and programme management topics as well as wayfinding and visual guidance. He is also a sessional lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University, London delivering content to students at level 6 and 7
